Minns Fall 2016 Series: Sources of a Global Faith

The fall 2016 Minns Lecture Series explored the ideals that Transylvanian Unitarians hold dear and discussed the core ritual practices kept vibrantly alive in Transylvanian Unitarian churches. The Revs. Norbert Racz, Maria Racz, and Csaba Mezei invited attendees into a dialogue about the pressing questions facing religious liberals in this time of unique opportunity for Unitarians and Universalist communities around the world.

The series will include three lectures and a pair of closing sermons:

  • Saturday, November 12, First Church in Boston - The Rev. Norbert Racz: The Future of Transylvanian Unitarian Liturgy.
  • Saturday, November 12, First Church in Boston - Intersession lunch (no charge) and partnership sharing event sponsored by the UU Partnership Church Council (UUPCC).
  • Saturday, November 12, First Church in Boston - Panel of the Revs. Norbert Racz, Maria Racz, and Csaba Mezei, and the Rev. Roger Bertschausen, executive director of the Unitarian Universalist Partner Church Council: What Will Be the Sources of a Global Unitarian Faith?
  • Sunday, November 13, First Church in Boston Sunday worship service - Concluding sermon by the Rev. Csaba Mezei.
  • Sunday, November 13, King's Chapel Sunday worship service - Concluding sermon by the Rev. Norbert Racz.
