A strong advocate for special education both in the church and in the broader community, she is currently writing a biography of Newbery Medalist Elizabeth Enright, a Unitarian and the niece of Frank Lloyd Wright.

Via a mix of spiritually-minded blogs and faith development programs, her ministry reaches around the world, engaging multifaith partners as well as Unitarian Universalists.
